How do I shrink my Icons and web pages on Windows XP?

I went on my computer a little while ago and all of a sudden all my Icons are big and when I go surf on the internet my pages are too big.I dont have a clue as to how this happen but would like to get this back to the way it before and I dony know what to do.Any help would be gratefull and thanks in advance.Gravy

Go into the display properties & try raising your resolution. If that's not it, I think I know what it will be-let me dig a little bit.

Tinco,I called a buddy of mine and tried that but that didnt work.If you find anything please post on here tonight because Im going to bed and thanks for the help.Gravy

Go into control panel..

Click: Display, then appearance, then advanced, then bring up "Icons" in the box and then you're given the option to change the size.

Try this--Right click on your desktop, go to properties, appearance, effects and uncheck "use large icons"
